The Greater Houston Chapter of Americans United for Separation
of Church and State is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization that
promotes and protects religious freedom and civil liberties.

The AU national organization, headquartered in Washington, DC,
works with other organizations like the American Civil Liberties
Union, filing lawsuits and friend of the court briefs. AU has had
many successes, including the Kitzmiller vs. Dover School District
case.
